Every Race must have Rules, and here's
ours.
Eligibility: Any Nevada Cacher with
a GC.com account.
Bugs: Must be an activated GC.com Travel
Bug. Bugs must have "NTBR" at the end of their name.
Limit 1 (one) Bug to each human member if the account is a Team.
Launch: Race begins March 17th. Bugs
may be dropped in any cache within the State of Nevada. If a
multi-cache is the drop location, the final stage must be in
Nevada.
Race: The following apply to a bug
during it's jounrney.
- The Goal is to reach a
state along the East Coast (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts,
Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington
DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia,
Florida.)
- Once the Travel Bug reaches
one of these states, it is to turn around and head back to Nevada.
- The Bug finishes the race when it returns
into Nevada. Final points awarded based on pick-up location.
Points: Values can be found on the
Stats Page
MIA Bugs: If a bug or the cache holding
the bug is muggled, the racer may either attempt to wait and
se if the bug returns, or begin a new Bug from Nevada. If a new
Bug is released and the old Bug reappears, the new Bug will be
the only tracked racer.
Restrictions: The Owner cannot move
their own bug. Travel Bugs may not be mailed.
